control operations through two major
aspects :
1- Fulfilling the state’s
sectors requirements .

Implementing control operations according to the annual work
plan .

1 -
Fulfilling the State’s Sectors requirements :
External assignments
:
Received from: the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the
Peoples Assembly, the Head of the Shoura Council, Ministers and
Governors.
The Illegal Gain requirements:
Received from: the illegal Gain Dept. to conduct
investigations on the financial status of public employees.
Requirements :
Received from: Senior Officials, University
Presidents, Chairmen of holding companies , and Prosecutors of
different Jurisdictions .
Investigations
Requests :
Received from:
the state’s administrative and economic institutions to
conduct investigations on candidates for top management posts or
candidates to be decoraies.

The ACA annual work :
The control operations are categorized into five major
areas :
The studies and researches :
National studies :
Examining national problem or general phenomenon,
regarding national concerns, or examining a problem involving
several ministries. Various central and regional control
departments contribute in implementing such study .
Planned studies
Previously planned study to examine certain problem
within specific ministry and its affiliates. The competent
control department implements such study .
Spontaneous studies
These studies are identified according to the out
comes of daily work .
Follow – up reports :
The ACA pursue , the state’s concerned bodies to
identify their compliance to implement its recommendations and
to reveal the difficulties and causes of inapplicability , in
order to enhance and develop its recommendations style . Further
, the ACA follows – up the implementation of projects included
in the state’s social and economic development plan, in order to
reveal and eliminate the obstacles hindering the implementation
progress .
Examination of Press and Media reports :.
Studying and analyzing Press articles (national – opposition)
and media coverage of issues relevant to ACA competence.
Internal assignments :
Control assignments launched according to the orders of ACA
Chairman, or his deputy .
Notification memorandums :
Notifying the state’s security agencies or administrative
bodies, with any violations classified under their jurisdictions
.
